Summary and exercise information
During the first seven parts you've become familiar with the basics of programming and produced many functioning program. You now know how to use variables, conditionals, loops and methods. You know that the naming of variables and methods affects the understandability of your programs. You've also dived deeper into the world of object-oriented programming, and to the wording of your programs through it. In addition, you've become acquainted with one of the most important tools of a professional developer - the integrated development environment (IDE).
The journey continues with the Advanced Programming Course, which begins with part 8 of the material.
Note! Completing this part ends the University of Helsinki's introduction to programming MOOC, which runs from parts 1-7. A course exam worth 5 ECTS is done once part 7 has been completed. If you're not one of the university's students and have not registered for the course through the Open University, do so now.
